Someone Else Will Bring the Bottle Opener

From roadsouldier.wordpress.com:

Brewskey…never leave home without it.

If you’re like me, you can never seem to locate the bottle opener when you need it. Recently while at the beach, wait…before we left for the beach I looked through EVERY drawer and cabinet in the kitchen. No luck, no opener. No loss, I knew somebody else would certainly have a bottle opener. After all, we’re going to the beach to be seen, get some sun and of course drink some beers.

Ironically as it turns out, everyone else expected somebody else to bring the bottle opener. So there we were, ice cold beers in the cooler, ready for action, and no means to open the bottles. Guys were using their rings to pop the tops, others tried borrowing openers from fellow beach mates. After several miscues, broken rings and busted fingers, we dispatched a buddy to the local store. He couldn’t find a bottle opener, but did buy a Brewskey hat. This hat has a built-in bottle opener, it pulls out of the side pocket when needed, and zips in when not. I must admit, for the rest of the day, the Brewskey remained pulled out, because as you might imagine, it was needed about every 90 seconds. It got to the point that the Brewskey hat was left at the cooler and at the end of the day EVERYONE wanted to take the hat home. You know as we left the beach, we headed to the store and we all bought our own Brewskey hat.

From now on, where ever we go, our Brewskey hats are with us. You never want to be unprepared, especially when you’re planning to drink a beer like Heineken, Corona, New Castle, Sierra Nevada or Sam Adams. Brewskey is always ready when you are.

Brewskey on……

A useful solution to the problem of combining hearing protection with headwear is the PLUGS system. This consists of a shooting cap that uses permanent, reusable ear plugs attached to the cap with a hidden, zippered tethering system. The plugs are contained within side pockets when not in use. They are easily removed for washing or replacement and are certified for NRR 27db. A big advantage, compared to using separate plugs is that the plugs are much less likely to fall on the ground or otherwise get lost in normal use. The caps are available in many styles and colors, and custom embroidery is available. For more information call (800)333-6304 or visit www.hattail.com.
